Akshay Kumar, born Rajiv Hari Om Bhatia on September 9, 1967, is a renowned Indian actor, producer, and martial artist. He began his career in the entertainment industry as a martial arts instructor in Mumbai. His entry into Bollywood happened in the late 1980s with small roles in films.


Akshay gained recognition with his breakthrough role in the 1992 film "Khiladi." He became known as the "Khiladi" of Bollywood due to his roles in a series of action-packed films. Over the years, he diversified his roles, showcasing versatility in genres like comedy, drama, and romance.
